Internal gateways
An internal gateway is defined in this mask. Exact knowledge of the network topology is required for these entries!

Gateway

The IP address of the gateway is entered here. It is located in the IP address range of the HS/FS.
The HS/FS reaches the specific target network via this address (see below).

Example: HS/FS IP address 192.168.0.11, Gateway address: 192.168.0.2

Target network

The IP address entered here is reached via the gateway (routed).
The host proportion of a network address always consists of zeros and can be identified in this way.
Example: 192.168.1. 0 (in the case of a net mask 255.255.255.0)

Net mask

The target network is masked with this. E.g. 255.255.255.0
