EIB Monitor
Contents
The EIB Monitor can record all EIB telegrams and all changes of internal communication objects.
All EIB communication objects that pass the EIB interface of the HS/FS are recorded. Changes to value of communication objects without "transfer flag" are also recorded.
A difference is made between telegrams that are incoming and outgoing from the HS/FS.
This list helps you to find possible errors easier.
The list can be called up chronologically or structured via http, sent per e-mail, or stored externally via ftp.
Important
The designations of the communication objects are displayed in the lists if the option "Display designation of the communication objects" is selected.

1.Data

Ring memory

The number entered here specifies the maximum number of images in the EIB Monitor.
A maximum of 50000 lines can be recorded.
If the number is reached, the oldest entry is always replaced by the newest one.
The data is saved retentively.

Always record

Yes: All EIB telegrams are recorded continuously.
Also select this option if when starting the HS/FS, all reading requirements Communication objects "Query during starting" are to be recorded.
No: The recording is controlled by the following communication object.
Important
All telegrams are always recorded. Filtering is not possible!

Control

A communication object is assigned here.
If this communication object has the value 1, all telegrams and changes to internal communication objects are recorded.
If this communication object has the value 0, no telegrams and changes to internal communication objects are recorded.

Recording: Also record internal communication objects

Yes: Changes to internal communication objects are additionally recorded.
The internal communication object must be assigned a group address for the recording.

Recording: Record only known addresses

Yes: Only EIB telegrams of communication objects are recorded that were recorded in the
master data EIB communication objects in HS/FS Expert.

Display

Yes: Display designation of the communication objects.
The lists contain the name of the communication object.

2.E-mail

This list shows all definitions that can be sent by e-mail.
Actuate the operating buttons "Create/Change/Delete" on the right next to the list. A mask appears for processing.
Note
This option is only available after sending via e-mail has been activated beforehand via Master data\Project\Network\E-mail.

3.http call

This list shows all definitions that can be retrieved via http query.
When calling up the hslist page in the browser, several parameters can also be transferred:
  • Is: Name of list
  • user: Name of the user
  • pw: Password
  • grp: Group address as filter criterion (optional)

4.FTP

This list shows all definitions that can be stored externally via FTP.
