1.Transferring via USB memory
Firmware/project transfer can be transferred to the HS/FS using prepared USB memory. There are two ways of transferring the data to the USB flash drive:
The data are written directly to the selected USB flash drive. The USB flash drive must be connected before opening the input screen.
Select the USB flash drive from the pull-down menu.
When creating the USB memory, either the firmware or the project is written to the USB memory stick. It is not possible to write both at the same time.

If this option is activated, the UBS device is ejected from the PC after the writing process is completed and can be removed directly. The drive previously assigned to the USB device is no longer available.
2.Transfer procedure
In order to carry out a firmware/project transfer, the following steps are necessary after writing with the HS/FS Expert:
- Connect the USB flash drive to the HS/FS.
- Restart the HS/FS.
- The HS/FS boots from the USB memory and carries out the firmware/project transfer.
- The HS/FS emits six beeps to signal that the process has finished.
- Switch off the device.
- Remove the USB memory.
- Restart the device.
