1.Uploading the remanent memory
The remanent data can be uploaded via the network.
Remanent data can be loaded into the HS/FS again with this program item. In this case it is necessary that the project from which the data originate is still being operated on the HS/FS. Otherwise, the saved data cannot be assigned in the project. They are lost in the process. The HS/FS is automatically restarted after uploading.
During uploading, the memory space with the older data is overwritten by the uploaded remanent data.

Note
If you reprogram the HS/FS and want to import the backed up remanent data afterwards, always use the Delete remanent memory option when transferring the project!
2.Transfer mode
The contents of the file specified here are loaded into the HS/FS. The file has the extension “
.dat
”.Important
If an FTP back-up server is active in the project via which the remanent data saved externally via FTP are read in again, the function for uploading the remanent data via Expert will not work because the data uploaded via the HS/FS Expert will be overwritten by the data read out from the FTP server when subsequently starting up the HS/FS!
