A project can be transferred via the following ways:

A project transfer can be carried out in the following modes:
Note
Prior to the shutdown of the HS/FS, saving of the data to retentive memory is triggered. After shutdown the data is read out from there again.
Transfer images+data+voice messages
The following is transferred:
  • The entire project data
  • All graphic files (Designs, Symbols, Visualisation, etc.) and settings
  • All directories and files located in “[EXP]\hsupload” if they are selected for transfer. (See Project settings -> Interface)
    [EXP]: Path to the HS/FS Expert directory.
  • The files required for certificate management.
  • All QuadConfig data
This mode must be used under the following circumstances:
  • Before the first data transfer or before calling the user interface for the first time
  • After changing graphics files
  • After creating new symbols and optical modules
  • After assigning other/new designs
  • After changes in the QuadConfig
  • After changing/adding/deleting files in “[EXP]\hsupload” or one of its sub-directories.
    [EXP]: Path for the HS/FS Expert directory.
Transfer data
Only the project data are transferred. This mode must be used after each change in the project.
Important
This mode is not available when using a USB flash drive!
Restart only
This option triggers restarting of the HS/FS. No transfer of the project data takes place. The retentive data is backed up first.

This mode is not available when using a USB flash drive!
Delete remanent memory
When this option is activated, the data is not written to the retentive memory before shutdown of the HS/FS. Instead, the retentive memory is deleted!
Important
Please note that when the retentive memory is deleted, all configuration data entered by the user in the QuadClient, e.g. a user password which differs from the one defined in the QCConfig, the administrator password or plug-in configurations are also deleted!
Delete certificates
When this action is activated, all the certificates on the HS/FS are deleted and created again in accordance with the procedure described here.
Delete key ring
If a KNX keyring file was previously uploaded to the HS/FS, it can be deleted by setting this option.
