1.Introduction
To use KNX Secure with the HS/FS, an interface with KNX Secure support must be configured.
In order for the HS/FS to send/receive encrypted group addresses, the key ring generated with the ETS must be imported into the HS/FS. To import the key ring, call the URL
In order for the HS/FS to send/receive encrypted group addresses, the key ring generated with the ETS must be imported into the HS/FS. To import the key ring, call the URL
https://HS-IP/hsknxkeys
in the browser. After successful import, the HS/FS restarts.1.1.Receiving Group Addresses
In order for encrypted group addresses to be received by the HS/FS, they must be stored in the key ring. This is done automatically by the ETS in the course of project planning.
1.2.Sending group addresses
In order for the HS/FS to be able to send encrypted group addresses, the following requirements are necessary for the respective interfaces:
- tunneling: All group addresses to be sent by the HS/FS must be connected to the tunnel used.
- Multicast: All group addresses to be sent by the HS/FS must be connected to the Routing Dummy application.
- USB: All group addresses to be sent from the HS/FS must be connected to the USB dummy application.
