1.Encrypted communication
The HS/FS supports encrypted communication (TLS/HTTPS) as of version 4.7. If there are no certificates on the device at startup, a root certificate as well as a server certificate is automatically generated. In the standard settings, the server certificate is bound to the IP address of the HS/FS.
If necessary, these settings can be adjusted via the project settings.

2.Manage certificates
Using the device's own certificate management, you can both download the public part of the root certificate and upload your own certificate if required. You can access the page in the browser using the URL

.2.1.Using your own certificate
The HS/FS can be operated with its own certificate. To upload a certificate, call up the URL

2.2.Renewing certificates
If the certificates were generated by the HS/FS, new certificates are automatically generated before the certificates expire, according to the project engineering. An uploaded certificate is not automatically renewed; here, a new certificate must be uploaded manually before the certificate expires. If a certificate expires, the HS/FS may no longer be accessible via HTTPS, depending on the browser/client.
