Checking and transferring the project
Contents

1.Checking the project

When checking the project, all components are checked to ensure that all the data required for transmission to the HS/FS are complete and correct.

On the one hand, all the settings that must be present in principle are checked, and on the other hand, all additional data entered and entered is checked for correctness.

If the result of the check is negative, all items that are found to be defective are displayed in the global message area of the expert.
If an exclamation mark with a yellow background is displayed in front of a message, this is a warning that there is still a configuration that is probably incorrect but does not hinder the execution of the project.
If a minus sign with a red background is displayed in front of a message, this is considered an error and the project cannot be transferred.

2.Transferring the project (with and without scan)

The HS/FS is not given its functionality until a project is transferred: The project data must be transferred to the HS/FS for this purpose. The HS/FS can be configured locally or remotely. The data can be transferred in the following ways:
Description of how to enter the data for the login here.

2.1.Differences when transferring with/without scan

If the project is transferred in transfer (without scan) mode, the communication objects are not read out from the KNX devices the next time the HS/FS is started. The project setting of the individual communication objects in the Query at start-up field remains unaffected.
Note
The communication objects are read out from the devices during each subsequent start-up procedure, e.g. after a power failure and restoration.
