Authenticate process

1.KNX Secure keyring

The keyring is generated using the ETS ("Engineering Tool Software").
Please refer to your ETS project for all information on the keyring.

2.Upload keyring

Select file

The file extension is .knxkeys. This is generated project-specifically in the ETS.

Password (keyring)

The keyring file password is expected here.
This password has been configured in your ETS project.

3.Authenticate process

The process must be authenticated by the project administrator!

User name

User name of the HS/FS user.

This user must have administrator rights for the HS/FS.
(Expert: Users -> User rights -> Administration )

Password

HS/FS user's password.

Upload

If the user name and password are entered correctly, the data from the selected keyring file will be uploaded to the HS/FS.
Note
The device restarts after successful upload.
If the user name and/or password are not correct, an error message is displayed, otherwise an info message is displayed indicating that upload was successful.
